Juventus are confirmed without Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata against Chelsea in the Champions League this midweek.

Juventus just won over Sampdoria in the sixth week of the Italian League this season, Sunday (26/9/2021).

In that match at the Allianz Stadium, Juventus won 3-2 thanks to goals from Paulo Dybala (10′), Leonardo Bonucci (43′-penalty) and Manuel Locatelli (57′).

However, Juventus’ victory came at a price with injuries to two of its pillar players, namely Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata .

10 minutes after scoring the opener, Paulo Dybala left the field crying because of a muscle injury.

Meanwhile, Alvaro Morata suffered a problem in his thigh and was replaced in the 82nd minute.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri then confirmed both will be absent when Juventus face Chelsea in the Champions League.

Massimiliano Allegri has revealed that Dybala and Morata may only be available after the international break next month.

This means that Dybala and Morata will also be absent when Juventus visit Torino’s headquarters in the Italian League next week.

“Dybala and Morata certainly won’t play against Chelsea or Torino. That’s for sure,” said Massimiliano Allegri as reported by Kompas.com from Football Italia.

“We can only hope they come back after the international break. Injuries are part of the game, we have to keep going,” said Allegri.

Even without Dybala and Morata, Allegri is not worried about the match against Chelsea, who are the defending Champions League champions.

“We will see how to play against Chelsea without Dybala and Morata,” he said.

“After all this is not a decisive match. The key match for qualification is against Zenit,” said Massimiliano Allegri continued.

The Juventus vs Chelsea match is scheduled to take place at the Allianz Stadium, Wednesday (29/9/2021) or Thursday (30/9/2021)
